This Privacy Policy explains how Glamigo collects, uses, and shares information when you use our app and services (the "Platform").
Information we collect
- Account and profile details you provide: name, email, phone number, city, profile photo, and (for Providers) service details and license information.
- Location information, when you allow it, to show services in your area and match you with nearby Providers.
- Content you create, such as messages, reviews, and job posts.
- Payment information for paid features. Payments are processed by Stripe (background checks) and Apple (memberships); Glamigo does not store your full card details.
- Usage and device information collected automatically to operate and improve the Platform.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the Platform, including matching Clients and Providers and enabling bookings and messaging.
- To process payments for paid features such as background checks and memberships.
- To support trust and safety, including verifying and reviewing Provider credentials.
- To communicate with you about your account and the service.
- To improve and secure the Platform.
How we share information
- With other users as needed to provide the service (for example, your name and profile are visible to those you interact with).
- With service providers who help us operate Glamigo, including Google Firebase (hosting and data storage), Stripe and Apple (payments), our email delivery provider, and background-check vendors for Providers who purchase a check.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Glamigo and its users.
Data retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Platform and for legitimate business or legal purposes. We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
Your choices
- You can review and update much of your information in the app.
- You can manage location permissions in your device settings.
- You may request deletion of your account from the Account section; some information may be retained as required by law.
Children
Glamigo is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
