Platform Rules

Glamigo is built on trust between clients and beauty professionals who meet in person. As a client and/or provider, it's important to be aware of what is not allowed on our platform. The examples in each section below show the kinds of things that aren't allowed, but they don't cover everything.

These Platform Rules set the standards that all clients and providers must follow to keep Glamigo safe, respectful, and reliable. They apply everywhere on Glamigo: your profile, messages, job posts, reviews, and the services you arrange.

Breaking these rules can lead to a warning, temporary suspension, loss of verification badges, or permanent removal, depending on severity. Anything that threatens someone's safety or breaks the law can result in immediate removal and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.

Safety comes first

Because Glamigo services happen in person, safety is non-negotiable.

  • No threatening, violent, or intimidating behavior toward anyone.
  • No conduct that puts another person's physical safety at risk.
  • Providers must follow proper health, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
  • Clients must provide a safe, appropriate environment for the service.
  • If you ever feel unsafe, remove yourself from the situation and report it.

Treat people with respect

  • No harassment, bullying, or repeated unwanted contact.
  • No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
  • No demeaning, abusive, or threatening language in messages, reviews, or profiles.

Be honest and authentic

  • No fake or duplicate profiles, and no impersonating another person or business.
  • Providers must represent their services, experience, pricing, and credentials accurately.
  • No fake, incentivized, or retaliatory reviews. Only review services you actually received.
  • No spam, scams, or misleading messages.

Providers: work within your qualifications and the law

  • Hold any licenses, certifications, or permits your services and location require, and keep them current.
  • Only offer services you're trained and qualified to perform.
  • Follow all applicable health, safety, and professional regulations.
  • Verification badges (Licensed Pro, Background Checked) reflect real, verified credentials. Never misrepresent your status or try to obtain a badge you haven't earned.

Clients: hold up your end

  • Provide accurate booking details and honest information.
  • Be present for your appointment and communicate promptly about changes or cancellations.
  • Treat providers professionally and respect their time, boundaries, and expertise.

Keep it on Glamigo, and keep it fair

  • Communicate and arrange bookings through Glamigo. It protects both sides and keeps a record if something goes wrong.
  • No fraud, stolen payment methods, or payment/chargeback abuse.
  • No manipulating reviews, rankings, search results, or verification badges.
  • Don't use Glamigo to route people to off-platform payment to dodge its protections.

Respect privacy

  • Don't share, post, or misuse someone else's personal information.
  • Don't photograph, record, or post images of a client or provider without their clear consent.
  • Keep what you learn about someone during a booking private.

No sexual misconduct or illegal services

  • Glamigo is for legitimate beauty and grooming services only.
  • No sexual harassment, solicitation, or requests for sexual services of any kind.
  • No illegal services, activities, or content, including anything involving minors, illegal drugs, or unlicensed medical procedures.

Post only content you have the rights to

  • Upload only photos and content you own or have permission to use (for example, portfolio images of your own work).
  • No content that infringes someone else's intellectual property.

Reporting and enforcement

If someone breaks these rules, or you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, report it. Use the in-app feedback option or email support@glamigoapp.com. Reports are reviewed confidentially.

We may remove content, pause or restrict accounts, revoke badges, or permanently remove anyone who violates these rules. We may update these Platform Rules as Glamigo grows; continued use of Glamigo means you accept the current version.
